I'VE ALWAYS LOVED Reese Witherspoon. She just seems so down-to-earth and that's kinda sexy if you ask me.

She doesn't strike me as someone who would resort to getting plastic surgery to maintain her hot status in Hollywood. Yup, I think she'll age like a fine wine just like Susan Sarandon and Helen Mirren (both of whom I adore).

The 35-year-old will be featured in Elle Magazine's upcoming February 2012 issue. In it, she shares her views on aging in Hollywood: "Nothin’s going north. It’s all going south, might as well put it on film now. But not without a lot of padding and a push-up bra."

Ah, I love this woman.

IT'S ALWAYS A PLEASURE to find pretty, young women photographers who are just crazy enough and curious enough to visualize their own future.

Case in point, Emily Cromarty of the UK. This gorgeous specimen of a human being decided that she needed to see what she'd look like 25 years down the line. She took her sharp, observant eye and applied her Photoshop skills on one of her self-portraits. The result? A visual treat for those of us fascinated with age progression of the female variety.

I have seen and met many-a-50-something-woman in my lifetime. And, for the most part, they've been of the portly and haggard variety. So, to see a 53-year-old Michelle Pfeiffer rock it out at the Elle 18th Annual "Women in Hollywood" event, still looking phenomenal, makes me hopeful for my own lady-love.
However, take a close look at her face (click and enlarge this photo) she is indeed "aging" with the rest of the world and most likely experiencing menopause. Look at how many fine wrinkles her face contains. She's definitely 53 BUT she's still got it going on.

Here's a brilliantly executed series of photographs entitled Face of Age by photographer Stepan Kozlov. He juxtaposed young models with very similar older models to create a very effective age comparison. It looks as if half the face of each subject was zapped with an age-ray gun. I'm really impressed by his match-ups of young and old because they really do look like they are the same person at two different stages of life. He also has aged three men but who gives a shit about that. Right?

Chest Wrinkles... Why Not?

I was watching Dr. Oz yesterday with MY "old lady" and they had a small segment dealing with cleavage wrinkles. Now for those of you not too familiar with cleavage or chest wrinkles, they are usually caused by the squeezing together of a woman's two breasts as she sleeps on her side in the fetal position. It's also accelerated by the sun's UV rays. Ah, the sun, nature's youth-zapping weapon.

Dr. Oz went on to say that you can prevent them by sleeping on your back and avoiding the sun's rays and that you can lessen their appearance by applying retinol creams at night and sunscreen during the day.
I say, suck on it Dr. Oz. I love cleavage wrinkles. In fact, in the dark, I can touch them and follow them with my fingers using them as guides to her downward-pointing nipples and on those hot summer days, there's nothing like watching a bead of sweat trickle down one of those ravines from her supple neck right down to the ample, sagging mounds of her hot, mature feminitude.

This French lady loves and always has loved sunbathing in the nude and often enough, her husband posts her images for all to observe the splendor that she brings to the world.I wanted to show you a side-by-side comparison of the effects age has caused in 30 years. On the left you'll find her in her early 40s and on the right she is in her 70s. Isn't amazing how her posture has changed? How about how she's gained some weight? Or, my favorite change of all, how her breast has grown in size and now sags well below where it used to. She's extraordinary. Life is extraordinary. I love how a woman ages, it's beautiful. High Fashion's High Toll on Amber Valetta's Beauty

Allow me to ask the following question: What if supermodel Amber Valetta had been born, way beyond yesterday, in the year 1899 and modeled throughout those years up to and including the year 2019?
Would you be curious to see what she'd look like as she aged? Well, W Magazine and talented photographer Steven Klein did the imagining for us and came up with a brilliant "One for the Ages" photo shoot for the September 2011 issue.
Amber is hot, without a doubt, and I'm convinced that, if she takes good care of herself, she'll age really well into her 60s and and possibly 80s. However, 120 years old? Judging by the photos, I'm not sure I'd want to hook up with her at that stage. Kinda creepy, if you ask me. Gotta admit though, my tastes have always leaned towards the more mature woman and the older I get, the older a woman I am interested in. So, based on that, when I'm 80 or 90, a 120-year-old woman may seem quite fetching to me.

I dare you to take a look at this beautiful specimen of a human being and tell me that you wouldn't want to "tap that ass."
Anna Ford is a retired British journalist who worked as a news anchor for the BBC for many years. She was and still is a strikingly beautiful woman.
In 2006, she retired from broadcasting and within a year of that she stopped dying her hair. It seemed like she had gone from brown to grey overnight.
She will be soon turning 68 and if I had to make a list of 68-year-old women whom I would love to see naked and share a few intimate moments with, she would be at the top of my list. Phhht! I'm biting my fist just thinking about it.

I want to see what I look like when I get old."

It's hard to believe that a Playboy Playmate of the Year would wind up serving a 9-year jail sentence for attempting to kill her husband. Even harder to believe is that the beguiling beauty to the left somehow morphed into the 66-year-old crone to the right.
It's true! Victoria Rathgeb a.k.a. Victoria Vetri a.k.a. Angela Dorian a.k.a. Miss September 1967 a.k.a. Playboy Playmate of the Year 1968 is guilty on both above counts. She was sentenced just a couple of days ago for Attempted Manslaughter. Crazeee! She should serve some extra time for Poor Physical Self-Preservation.

Pictures speak a thousand words and here, in this instance, this picture speaks a thousands bits of cellulite. The once slender and sexy supermodel Stephanie Seymour is now a 43-year-old MILF and back in March she was photographed at her favorite beach haunt, St. Barts flaunting her ivory white skin, looking older thanks to the slight but ever-so-present globs of fat scattered all over her body.
I remember back in college, my best bud lusted over Stephanie, if he could have seen what the future held for her, he may have not been so ga-ga over her.

Janice Dickinson... what can I say? Sometimes she turns me on like no one else and at other times she looks like Steven Tyler got a sex change.
This summer (July 4, 2011) she hit Malibu Beach with her svelte figure and showed off every inch of tight but wrinkly skin and every, well-defined muscle on her 56-year-old body in a red/orange two-piece.
I've said it before, she looks phenomenal for her age but she can be obnoxious as hell. She's hot and yet she's not.

So, another summer has gone by and a bevy of aging women got to hit the beach in their bikinis. Among them were celebrities once considered to exude sex appeal, now it's questionable. Fortunately for us, someone had a camera handy and now I get to share these sightings with you.

Observe one Katie Holmes on Miami Beach on June 18, 2011: she's as thin as ever and only 32 years old but click on the photo to enlarge and you will notice how one of life's stages has wreaked havoc on her stomach. It seems pregnancy was not too kind and even with 5 years to recover, the skin of her stomach is all stretched out and lined with wrinkles. It's as if someone zapped her tummy with an age-ray gun. It'll be awhile before the rest of her catches up with that (maybe 20 years).

Believe it or not, what you see above is a sculpture! It's true! If you appreciate the aging of the female form, as I do, then you'll appreciate the art of Tip Toland. She's primarily a sculptor and her subjects tend to lean towards the human body and how it ages. Her work has progressed steadily over the years becoming a lot more realistic with every new piece.

Here, I've compiled the works that caught MY eye and I'm sure will get your attention too. You can tell there's passion there and that she has a love affair with the human condition and its effects on the female body over time. You can see more of her work here.

I've always loved Kate Winslet. She's my kind of woman and her recent statements have re-enforced that for me. She's a huge advocate for women aging without the help of plastic surgery.

She, Rachel Weisz (another of my favorites) and Emma Thompson have banded together to form the British Anti-Plastic Surgery League to fight for pride, wrinkles and the right to age gracefully.

She was quoted as saying that such practices "go against my morals."

It's time that I got back to work on this blog, wouldn't you say? I'm back! Sorry for the long hiatus folks. Life throws us curveballs sometimes and it's hard to make contact after that. I'm still rather busy but I'll do my best to post often enough. Now, let's get down to business.

I'm a big fan of Playboy and I have my own list of favorite Playmates. Among them is the smart and beautiful Cathy St. George, Miss August 1982. She's an actress, a model and a very talented make-up artist. You have to admit she's aged quite nicely since her first Playboy appearance. Since then, she's posed naked several times online. The last time, I believe, was in 2003 at the ripe age of 49. I'm not aware of anything new since then. Today, Cathy turns 57, that's 3 years shy of 60 for those of you who are mathematically challenged. She looks awesome, don't you think? Menopause is having an effect - notice how her neck is wrinkling up and she's developing a turkey wattle? She wears it very well though. Hope she never gets any work done on that precious face of hers. I sure would love to see her shed her clothes again. Happy birthday Cathy!

I have to admit that Erika Eleniak was favorite of all the Baywatch women. I always imagined that she'd be fat by the time she hit middle-age but she's proven me wrong.

Erika took another step further into her forties today. She turns 41!!! She's holding up fairly well however, as you'll notice in the accompanying recent picture, Father Time has taken to her face and body with a fine tipped pencil.

Observe the lines creeping in beneath her beautiful blue eyes; the lips that are pruning with every ooh sound that emanates from her lovely mouth and the lines surfacing with every gentle squishing of her breasts. Sigh. Heaven.

Of the few, there is one that shines and her experience and exceptional skill has been in demand for years. Her name is Dr. D'Lynn Waldron. I discovered her work a few years back and this is one work of hers that I keep coming back to.

Vanessa Hudgens Older Than She Appears?

Vanessa is actually 78 years old?

I came across an interesting little tidbit way back when about High School Musical star, Vanessa Hudgens. Apparently, she's so worried about aging that she's already using anti-wrinkle cream at the tender age of 21. I had posted about it before I never shared what she was quoted saying. I also found a new pic of her looking older.
Earlier this year, she was quoted as saying:

“I’m already starting to use anti-aging. You might as well start sooner than later because products are really amazing these days. You might as well start now, put a little lotion on rather than having to get wrinkles. I think it’s smart to start soon, really. It’s a good beauty tip."

Hmm… I'm thinking that maybe she's actually much older than she claims and that this is what she actually looks like. Maybe she's come across some kind of miracle cream and she's really 78 years old.

Aging Beauty Returns to V

Actress Jane Badler will be reprising her role as the venomous Diana, 27 years later, on the second season of the revamped V series.
   She was the hottest thing about the original series and I'm certainly looking forward to seeing an older, wiser and indeed, judging by recent of pictures of her on the web, sexier Diana.
   I hope this leads to better things for her including a nude Playboy shoot (one can dream). She looks like she's still rockin' that body.
   The second season of V premieres on ABC in November but a specific date has yet to be announced.

Ladies of a certain age, the best that can be said is, welcome. Congratulations are not necessarily in order. After all, who asks to find herself here, over the hump, in midlife? Who wanted to arrive in this territory, even though everyone knew it existed and could see others inhabiting it?
   Never mind. (Pause here for a sigh of reluctant acknowledgment. Or to mourn.) Few like it here much, especially in summer, the season for baring the body. Just to underscore the point, along comes August's Age Issue of Vogue, with women complaining about their no-longer-perfect bodies - from eyebrows gone haywire to shoulders with brown and red spots.
   Many women fight tooth and bicep to delay arrival to this place. Midlife makes them feel invisible to men and somehow diminished, despite their accomplishments. No wonder all those big, fancy cosmetics companies and plastic surgeons frame their age-defying pitches in the feminist language of "rights" and "choices." They understand that some women see youthful physical beauty as an expression of their power.
   But do not colour your thoughts along with your grey roots.
   Such is women's obsession with the tyranny of their aging bodies - some might even call it a body dysmorphic disorder - that they develop names for the various age-signifying bits that can seem as offensive as teenage behaviour, prompting a need for strict control (in this case intervention in the form of diet, exercise, cream, injection or scalpel).
   The names suggest annoyance, never love or fondness of the type men have for some of their parts.
   Which is unfortunate. Don't you love your teenager, despite his long, greasy hair?The cure, ladies, is to laugh. To wit, a list of the best names for the worst afflictions.

The Bitch Wrinkle:

Also known as Chapter Eleven (an appropriate illusion to bankruptcy, given the cost of Botox). It's that wrinkle - some have two parallel lines - between the eyebrows.

Bunny Lines: Sounds cute, but they are not. Small lines from the tear duct of the eye up the bridge of the nose.

Crow's Feet:

No explanation needed.

The Parentheses: Or Bracket. The lines on either side of the nose, running to edge of the lips. Why not stick with Deep Smile Folds, or DSF, for short? At least that name suggests you have been having fun.

Quilting Pattern:

When wrinkles start to form in a horizontal pattern along with the vertical ones. Found primarily on the lower cheek.

Vampire Dinner Lips:

We could call the lines around the lips by their quasi-medical term, perioral wrinkles. But that's not much fun. Better to follow Diana Athill's lead. In her recent memoir, Somewhere Towards the End, she wrote of the aging process with an admirable sense of humour. "One of my dearest old friends could never get it into her head that if, when doing herself up for a party, she slapped on a lot of scarlet lipstick, it would soon come off on her teeth and begin to run into the little wrinkles round the edge of her lips, making her look like a vampire disturbed in mid-dinner."

Ringed Tree Trunk: Also known as the Ropey Neck. We have Nora Ephron to thank for drawing our attention here. In her book, I Feel Bad About My Neck: And Other Thoughts on Being a Woman, she observed, "You have to cut open a redwood tree to know how old it is, but you wouldn't have to if it had a neck."

Gludgeons: Otherwise known as Dewlaps. The little bulge of skin where the arm meets the torso. Vogue named the body part in their August 2008 Age-less Issue.

Bingo Wings: Or Dinner Lady Arms. Even Madonna, a super-fit 50-year-old pop star, was revealed to have them - the flabby undercarriage of the upper arms - when she waved to fans earlier this month.

Alluvial Fan: Pattern of lines formed on upper chest. They drain into the cleavage. Some midlife women refrain from sleeping on their sides to prevent their formation.

Crepey Cleavage:

Not worth displaying with the same confidence the area once inspired.

The Shelf or Bosom: A formidable prow of a ship with which a matron can sail into a room.

Saddlebags: Carried on the outer part of the thighs at the top. Can lead to a state of being known as The Waist-less Wide-bottom.

Cellulite: Well, duh.

Menopot: Also known as The Pooch.

Old Lady Butt:

Or Saggy Booty. Also afflicts old men (as evidenced with Jack Nicholson in Something's Gotta Give). Can be seen on the young, too: Celebrity watchers have outed Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan as having Diaper Booty. (Yes, the droopy butt has several names.)

Suitcase Knees:

They are padded and bulky. Skinny, exercise enthusiasts develop Shar-Pei Knees: wrinkled folds that droop.

Here's an awesome example of how a woman's body changes in ten years. This is what the author of the photo wrote about it on his Flickr page:

"Both pictures were taken at the Terra Cotta Inn nudist resort in Palm Springs on May 2nd. One in 2000, the other in 2010. Spot the differences?"

Hell, I'll spot the differences! A double chin is developing. Her breasts hang noticeably lower (and are pierced). Her tummy is slightly distended with folds forming around her belly button. Why do the beautiful women of the world insist on fighting Father Time?
I mean, in my opinion, if a woman is beautiful in her youth then, if she takes great care of herself, she will grow to be a beautiful older woman too (no matter how many wrinkles and sags she acquires). Look at Jane Seymour, Lynda Carter, Susan Sarandon and Helen Mirren; four gorgeous older women who have seemingly not tampered with their faces and still manage to look gorgeous.
Lara Flynn Boyle (40) on the other hand is far from being considered ancient just yet and she has already managed to make a mess of her pretty looks with plastic surgery. Just recently, I found another well-done age progression but this one also ages her body. I don't read Spanish but I believe it comes from a Bolivian tabloid paper/

Warehouse 13 - TV Age Progression

Syfy Channel aired an episode of Warehouse 13 titled Age Before Beauty this week, in which several runway models end up missing or dead after having their youth stolen from them.
As with any good AP-themed show, a beautiful, female, main character gets involved. In this case, beautiful U.S. Secret Service agent Myka goes undercover as an up and coming model. She eventually is subjected to the same aging effects that the dead or missing models had been.
I pasted together some of the key moments from the episode; moments that I particularly enjoyed. The make-up wasn't half bad IMHO.
Myka is portrayed by the beautiful Joanne Kelly. I think I'm in love with her. Anyway, I strongly urge you to watch this episode if you are interested in age progression.

Every so often, I plan to post a doctored photo of a celebrity who we know or suspect is hiding a head of white or gray under a coat of dye.

Today, we tackle Jennifer Lopez who celebrated a birthday 3 days ago. J.Lo turned 41 on the weekend and we know that she's hiding a salt-and-pepper doo under that coat of brown paint. We were first clued in on the fact when shots of her from the 2006 NCLR Alma Awards appeared on the web showing off some obviously gray roots.

What do we think she looks like sans dye-job? Look no further but here, folks! It's amazing how much a gray head of hair will age a woman's looks. Don't you think? Hmm... one wonders if the carpet matches the drapes.

Never Too Old for Boudoir

My girlfriend is insecure about her body. Sure she could maybe lose a couple of kilos but I still love her and I still think she's very sexy as she is right now. I like to think that, as the years go by and she matures, she'll grow more confident and won't be so shy about her body. Hopefully, it will lead to her scheduling a session with a photographer 30 years from now and she'll surprise me with some sexy boudoir photos.

If I'm going to be honest, I have to say that today's featured birthday girl is arguably the sexiest and most beautiful 65-year-old actress in the world. I defy you to name another 65-year-old actress who has more raw sexual vibe and is better preserved than the talented Helen Mirren.
She gives me a boner every time I see her naked in a movie (which is practically every film she's appeared in to date).
Okay, she's getting older and, as you can see from the beach pics from last year, her cellulite is fairly obvious these days but she's still sexy, especially for her age. I, for one, am looking forward to seeing her act nude when she's 75! "Down boy!" (I'm talkin' into my crotch).

Gorgeous actress Charisma Carpenter, best known for her role as Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel, is turning 40 today! Wow!
The signs of her age are evident though which isn't surprising since she's always been a huge fan of tanning. IMHO, she already looks 5 years older than she is. At this rate, she'll be looking like a granny in no time.

In trying to find more mother and daughter images, I chanced upon this set here by a photographer (Ulric Collette) on Flickr. He calls this concept, "genetic portraits" where her blends in half the face of the mother and half of the daughter. It's an incredible result that resembles age progression.

In the first pic, the mother (age 56) is compared to the younger daughter (age 23). While in the second image, the older daughter (age 29) is compared to the mother.

I love comparing faces in photos of mothers and daughters. Especially when they are dressed similarly as in this picture from Flickr.

In many cases, you can see how the daughter will eventually age to look like the mother. Effectively, you're looking at an age progression image without the aid of Photoshop or some hi-tech software package.

I'm constantly comparing my woman's features to those of her mother and even grandmother. I'm awaiting with great anticipation the day that my woman will be old too. In the meantime, I'll close my eyes and use my imagination.

When I first laid my eyes on Janet Lupo on playboy.com, I was mesmerized. Breathtakingly beautiful with a pair of monumental mounds that leave me speechless every time, she is a goddess. Honestly, if ever I was to imagine Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love, she would look exactly like Janet Lupo. Even into her late forties, her mammaries held up oh so well. I just want to rub my face in them until my heart stops. The most recent shot I found of her was from two years ago. The most recent nude was from 12 years ago. DOES THIS WOMAN LOOK 47!?!?!? Holy wrinkles Batman! Phoebe Cates looks at least 15 years younger than she actually is. She turns 47 today and she looks exquisite. There wasn't a movie of hers from the 80s that didn't give me a rise. She doesn't act anymore which is a shame. We have to settle for awards show appearances on the arm of her husband Kevin Kline.

She must be experiencing menopause now so if she's going to show any signs of age, they will come in the next 5 years. If you look closely at her most recent photos, she does look slightly puffier and has a few tiny wrinkles around the eyes. Other than that, she looks phenomenal.

It's incredible what 20 years can do to a woman and her body, especially when she lives hard, abusing alcohol. Case in point, actress Brigitte Nielsen. She turns a youngish 47 today but she barely resembles it. In this photo from 2008, she looks like she's eligible for retirement benefits. I could have shown you a more recent photo of her but this one is more effective. (She seems to have had some work done in the last two years. Shhh!)

She was so freakin' hot in the 80s! I'm not sure what to think of her these days. She's still sexy but I'm not sure I want to touch her and plastic boobs.

This news may sound disappointing but it may just turn out to be awesome. Turns out that Amanda Seyfried (Chloe, Mamma Mia!) has signed on to star in a sci-fi film in which the elite can afford to pay to stop aging at 25 years of age and so the poor are left to wither and die. Her character discovers along the way that love is more important than staying young. Does this mean that her character will give up her right to stay young and that we'll be treated to some old age makeup on sweet Amanda? I hope so. Time will tell. Here's a concept that I hope to do regularly, Will This Become That?. I'll compare young women to old women.

I'm always curious to know how certain women will eventually age. The other day, I found this picture of a beautiful topless blonde on the beach with huge hangin' boobs and I wondered how those uber-delicious udders of hers would fare over time. Then I saw this other pic of an old woman with incredible saggers and my vision of the blonde's future was suddenly clear! I could be wrong but it seems logical to me. What do YOU think? Happy birthday to one of my two favorite angels, Cheryl Ladd. I can't tell you how many times I rubbed one out to Ms. Ladd when I was much younger while watching Charlie's Angels. Thank God for TV Land because I get to relive that experience in the present.

As you can see, she's still sizzlin' hot. Time's got nothing on her. She's taken great care of herself and although there are some slight sags showing and a few wrinkles here and there, I still wish I could see her naked.

I couldn't find a more recent photo of her other than the one displayed here on the right. She might not have changed too much since then although three years to a woman in her sixties is like 10 years to a woman in her 40s; the damage can be extensive. Hmm… I wonder what she looks like now?

Poor LiLo, it ain't enough that her drinkin' and druggin' lifestyle has given her youthful looks a beating, now she'll have to weather the anxiety of spending time behind bars. Me thinks that they'll go easy on her but who knows?
