GENETICALLY MODIFIED PEOPLE

I LOVE TO SEE side-by-side, inter-generational comparisons of women in the same family. It's rare to find any of great quality but artist/ photographer Ulric Collette has created quite a few in a series of his called Portraits Génétiques.
My favorite one is pictured here. It's a 61 year old grandmother and her 12 year old granddaughter. It's so effective because they share so many facial similarities, i.e. face shape, eyes, nose, etc... Because of their similarities, it looks as if it's the same woman with half her face aged or rejuvenated by almost 50 years.
I encourage you all to take a look at the rest of his work. Surely, you will find something else that you like. He also makes side-by-side comparisons between sisters, brothers, twin siblings, parents and their offspring whether they be male or female. It's a pretty cool project. You can see the rest at http://genetic.ulriccollette.com/.
You should also take a look at this video posted on Vimeo that features my other favorite pairings:

Peculiar but Intriguing

AS CERTAIN WOMEN AGE (men too) they can lose their teeth, given to poor higiene or even unfortunate genes. Well, here's a Tumblr site that visualizes big-name celebrity women without their chompers.
A lot of these images are quite funny to look at including the one pictured here of Sofia Vergara. It kinda gives you a glimpse of what she will look like as a toothless old lady many years from now.
So, I encourage you take a look at the rest of these toothless grins on the Actresses Without Teeth Tumblr blog.

Hot Blonde Ages Quickly Through Digital Means

IT'S PRETTY COOL IF YOU ASK ME. Simon Modery, an editor in the film industry, put together this pretty fun age progression of a beautiful model named Nikka. She looks to be about 60 years old in the photoshopped image. Wouldn't you agree?

HERE'S A PRETTY COOL age effect that this DeviantArt member posted of herself aged in the mirror. It's subtle but effective.

GGO Birthday - KATE MIDDLETON

Guess who turns the big THREE-O? Why it's the Duchess of Cambridge of course!

Let's see if she will resemble this oft-circulated depiction of her by phojoe.com in 35 years or so.

When Talented Photogs Get Curiously Creative

IT'S ALWAYS A PLEASURE to find pretty, young women photographers who are just crazy enough and curious enough to visualize their own future.

Case in point, Emily Cromarty of the UK. This gorgeous specimen of a human being decided that she needed to see what she'd look like 25 years down the line. She took her sharp, observant eye and applied her Photoshop skills on one of her self-portraits. The result? A visual treat for those of us fascinated with age progression of the female variety.

Thank you Emily.

Be sure to take a look at her photographic portfolio:

 She's very talented.

FACE OF AGE by Stepan Kozlov

Here's a brilliantly executed series of photographs entitled Face of Age by photographer Stepan Kozlov. He juxtaposed young models with very similar older models to create a very effective age comparison. It looks as if half the face of each subject was zapped with an age-ray gun. I'm really impressed by his match-ups of young and old because they really do look like they are the same person at two different stages of life. He also has aged three men but who gives a shit about that. Right?

GGO Birthday - GWEN STEFANI

Happy 42nd birthday to Gwen Stefani! She may be the latest spokesmodel for L'Oréal Paris but Miss Gwen is fast approaching the age illustrated here by the talented Grumplebits from Worth1000.com. Who knows? Maybe she'll be the spokesmodel for L'Oréal Gériatrique when the time comes.

PRETTY GIRL 2 PRETTY GRANNY

Thank the powers that be for the existence of Photoshop and the talented people out there whose vision and art skills allow us all to peer into the future! Here's a prime example of what I'm talking about. Maxbee, a talented member of the Worth1000 community, created this bute of a self-portrait, envisioning herself 50 years down the line. Brilliant work!!! Pretty girl makes for a pretty old lady.
