GGO Birthday - KATE WINSLET

THE FABULOUSLY TALENTED Kate Winslet with whom I fell in love with 20 years ago in Heavenly Creatures turns a ripe 40 years of age today. If you ask me, she still has plenty for me to be in love with for at least the next 20 years.

PRETTY GIRL TO PRETTY OLD GRANNY

AGE PROGRESSED images of attractive young women are few and far between on the web. Also, there are fewer still that are well crafted. Every once in awhile, I'll stumble upon one in my daily perusal of the web. Here's one that really impressed me. I added what I estimated her age to be in each frame.

     I wish I could tell you who the artist is that created these fantastic age progressions but the website that  I sourced them from credited them to AgingWithBeauty which, unfortunately, is a dead link.

    Whoever did these, kudos!

SIDE BY SIDE - MERYL STREEP

BLESS THE PERSON who put together this side-by-side comparison of Meryl Streep on Tumblr. It serves as a great study on how a beautiful woman's face ages. The creases and folds that have developed fascinate me so much.
     The photo on the left was taken in 2013 and she is 64 years old. The one on the right was shot in 1979 when she was 30 years old, back when she had worked on Kramer vs. Kramer.

OLD AND SEXY BEACH BABE

IF YOU SQUINT and take a long look at this older woman, no matter what your pleasure is, you would have to admit that she's got a rockin' body. Now if you're like me and appreciate the signs of age such as wrinkles and sags, unsquintify your eyes and take this lovely woman in for the beauty that she is. She is amazing. And check out her tattoo! I'm not a huge fan of tatts on older women but hers is subtle and tastefully positioned just below her delicious belly.

IT'S PRETTY COOL IF YOU ASK ME. Simon Modery, an editor in the film industry, put together this pretty fun age progression of a beautiful model named Nikka. She looks to be about 60 years old in the photoshopped image. Wouldn't you agree?

TIME'S TOLL ON YOUTH

IT'S ASTONISHING to see how much a woman's body can change over the course of several years. Case in point: the beautiful lady depicted here. I don't care what you may think, I believe she is more attractive now than she was back in her youth. I'm not sure what the  time span is between shots but I would guess it's about 30 to 40 years.

Michelle Pfeiffer's Face

I have seen and met many-a-50-something-woman in my lifetime. And, for the most part, they've been of the portly and haggard variety. So, to see a 53-year-old Michelle Pfeiffer rock it out at the Elle 18th Annual "Women in Hollywood" event, still looking phenomenal, makes me hopeful for my own lady-love.
    However, take a close look at her face (click and enlarge this photo) she is indeed "aging" with the rest of the world and most likely experiencing menopause. Look at how many fine wrinkles her face contains. She's definitely 53 BUT she's still got it going on.

Happy 42nd birthday to Gwen Stefani! She may be the latest spokesmodel for L'Oréal Paris but Miss Gwen is fast approaching the age illustrated here by the talented Grumplebits from Worth1000.com. Who knows? Maybe she'll be the spokesmodel for L'Oréal Gériatrique when the time comes.

What 30 Years Can Do

Here's an awesome Flickr find. This French lady loves and always has loved sunbathing in the nude and often enough, her husband posts her images for all to observe the splendor that she brings to the world.I wanted to show you a side-by-side comparison of the effects age has caused in 30 years. On the left you'll find her in her early 40s and on the right she is in her 70s. Isn't amazing how her posture has changed? How about how she's gained some weight? Or, my favorite change of all, how her breast has grown in size and now sags well below where it used to. She's extraordinary. Life is extraordinary. I love how a woman ages, it's beautiful. Wouldn't you agree?

GGO Birthday - BRIGITTE BARDOT

Happy birthday to sex kitten Brigitte Bardot. She turns 77 today. You look at her photos from her youth and it's hard to believe that a fine specimen like herself has reached the age of 77. Mostly, it's hard to believe that she's developed as many wrinkles as she has and all that saggy, lined skin beneath her chin. Wow! Okay, many of you will think of me as a masochist to know that  I'd still be willing to see her strike a sexy pose in some skimpy lingerie, looking as she does today.

High Fashion's High Toll on Amber Valetta's Beauty

Allow me to ask the following question: What if supermodel Amber Valetta had been born, way beyond yesterday, in the year 1899 and modeled throughout those years up to and including the year 2019?
     Would you be curious to see what she'd look like as she aged? Well, W Magazine and talented photographer Steven Klein did the imagining for us and came up with a brilliant "One for the Ages" photo shoot for the September 2011 issue.
     Amber is hot, without a doubt, and I'm convinced that, if she takes good care of herself, she'll age really well into her 60s and and possibly 80s. However, 120 years old? Judging by the photos, I'm not sure I'd want to hook up with her at that stage. Kinda creepy, if you ask me. Gotta admit though, my tastes have always leaned towards the more mature woman and the older I get, the older a woman I am interested in. So, based on that, when I'm 80 or 90, a 120-year-old woman may seem quite fetching to me.

GGO News: No Face Work for Pamela Anderson

Baywatch alum, Pam Anderson was recently quoted as saying that she's not planning on ever getting any plastic surgery done in her future. She said, "It’s a personal choice. I think it was much more popular in the 80s. People are doing injections and Botox now, which I’m not really interested in. Everyone is telling me I should but I don’t care! I want to see what I look like when I get old."
     If that's the case, she should take a look at this Worth1000 artist's vision of her. IMHO, she'll be lucky if she ages as well as the Pam Anderson in the picture.

Thank the powers that be for the existence of Photoshop and the talented people out there whose vision and art skills allow us all to peer into the future! Here's a prime example of what I'm talking about. Maxbee, a talented member of the Worth1000 community, created this bute of a self-portrait, envisioning herself 50 years down the line. Brilliant work!!! Pretty girl makes for a pretty old lady.

GGO NEWS: KATE WINSLET REJECTS PLASTIC SURGERY

I've always loved Kate Winslet. She's my kind of woman and her recent statements have re-enforced that for me. She's a huge advocate for women aging without the help of plastic surgery.

She, Rachel Weisz (another of my favorites) and Emma Thompson have banded together to form the British Anti-Plastic Surgery League to fight for pride, wrinkles and the right to age gracefully.

She was quoted as saying that such practices "go against my morals."

GGO BIRTHDAY - CATHY ST. GEORGE

It's time that I got back to work on this blog, wouldn't you say? I'm back! Sorry for the long hiatus folks. Life throws us curveballs sometimes and it's hard to make contact after that. I'm still rather busy but I'll do my best to post often enough. Now, let's get down to business.

I'm a big fan of Playboy and I have my own list of favorite Playmates. Among them is the smart and beautiful Cathy St. George, Miss August 1982. She's an actress, a model and a very talented make-up artist. You have to admit she's aged quite nicely since her first Playboy appearance. Since then, she's posed naked several times online. The last time, I believe, was in 2003 at the ripe age of 49. I'm not aware of anything new since then. Today, Cathy turns 57, that's 3 years shy of 60 for those of you who are mathematically challenged. She looks awesome, don't you think? Menopause is having an effect - notice how her neck is wrinkling up and she's developing a turkey wattle? She wears it very well though. Hope she never gets any work done on that precious face of hers. I sure would love to see her shed her clothes again. Happy birthday Cathy!

GGO Birthday - ERIKA ELENIAK

I have to admit that Erika Eleniak was favorite of all the Baywatch women. I always imagined that she'd be fat by the time she hit middle-age but she's proven me wrong.

Erika took another step further into her forties today. She turns 41!!! She's holding up fairly well however, as you'll notice in the accompanying recent picture, Father Time has taken to her face and body with a fine tipped pencil.

Observe the lines creeping in beneath her beautiful blue eyes; the lips that are pruning with every ooh sound that emanates from her lovely mouth and the lines surfacing with every gentle squishing of her breasts. Sigh. Heaven.

Audrey Faith Perry a.k.a. country/pop singer Faith Hill celebrates her 43rd birthday today and she's certainly looking it in these recent photos. Her cheeks are falling, the lines on her neck are becoming more evident and she's dressing frumpy. She'll most likely make a cute granny.

Those of you not familiar with today's birthday girl, Rosanna Arquette, should know that she was quite the heartbreaker in her day. She managed to cast a spell on tons of musicians. Even inspiring the band Toto to write their hit song Rosanna. The aging hottie turns 51 today. Maybe she'll inspire the world's first GILF songs sometime in the near future!
